Late Lead Slips Away Against Utah

 Washington State dropped game two of the series with Utah 9-3 at Bailey-Brayton Field Friday afternoon. The rubber game of the series is set for Saturday at Noon on the Pac-12 Network. Prior to the game Saturday, nine Cougar seniors will be recognized.  

Bats Back Sunitsch, Cougars Beat USC to Even Series

Scotty Sunitsch fired seven shutout innings and Washington State scored in each of the first four innings in an 8-4 victory over USC at Bailey-Brayton Field Saturday afternoon. The rubber game of the series is set for Noon Sunday.

Tinsley, Sweet Lead Crimson to Victory Over Gray

Quarterback Trey Tinsley threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns while Kyle Sweet had game-highs of eight catches for 138 yards to led the Crimson team to a 34-24 victory over the Gray squad in the annual Crimson and Gray Game Saturday afternoon in front of 5,927 fans at Joe Albi Stadium.

Jason Hanson Elected to CoSIDA Academic All-American Hall of Fame

One of the most recognized Cougar football athletes of all time, Jason Hanson picked up another honor as he was elected into the CoSIDA Academic All-America Hall of Fame, the organization announced Thursday. Hanson becomes the first student-athlete in school history to receive this honor.

Cougars Name Kamie Ethridge Women's Basketball Coach

Washington State University Director of Athletics Patrick Chun announced Sunday the hiring of Kamie Ethridge as the next head coach of the Cougars' Women's Basketball program. Ethridge will be formally introduced at a press conference Tuesday, April 17 at 2 p.m. in the Cougar Football Complex media room.
