Washington State University is asking the Cougar community to take action to honor the restrictions and guidelines that Governor Jay Inslee has put in place designed to slow the spread of COVID-19.

WSU updates spring sports including the delay of Spring football

In alignment with the Pac-12 Conference and the recent guidelines put in place by Washington Governor Jay Inslee, the Washington State Department of Athletics will cancel all conference and non-conference competitions through the end of the academic year. This includes spring varsity sports that compete beyond the year and participation in all NCAA tournaments and competitions.

WSU announces new guidelines for home competitions

Following the decision earlier Wednesday by Washington State University to move in‑person classes to online formats following spring break, Washington State Athletics will implement new attendance protocols for all home athletic competitions until further notice. This move is being made to allow for increased social distancing in light of the spread of the COVID-19 illness in the state of Washington.
