ACLU: Grays Harbor County to produce records on confinement

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — The American Civil Liberties Union of Washington state says that just after it sued Grays Harbor County for records related to juvenile detention, the county agreed to produce 2,300 pages. The organization began filing public records requests in May, following reports that a 15-year-old boy was placed in solitary confinement for eight days. It sued the county in Thurston County Superior Court this week because officials still hadn't produced the records.
