New WSU football coach helps create Coaches Coalition For Progress

When the Washington State Cougar football team finally gets together in Pullman, it will be different.  But change isn't always a bad thing, in terms of change for equality, it's tough to think of anything better.  WSU's new defensive ends coach AJ Cooper is doing what he can to start the change now.

WSU updates spring sports including the delay of Spring football

In alignment with the Pac-12 Conference and the recent guidelines put in place by Washington Governor Jay Inslee, the Washington State Department of Athletics will cancel all conference and non-conference competitions through the end of the academic year. This includes spring varsity sports that compete beyond the year and participation in all NCAA tournaments and competitions.

WSU announces new guidelines for home competitions

Following the decision earlier Wednesday by Washington State University to move in‑person classes to online formats following spring break, Washington State Athletics will implement new attendance protocols for all home athletic competitions until further notice. This move is being made to allow for increased social distancing in light of the spread of the COVID-19 illness in the state of Washington.

Elleby named Pac-12 Player of the Week

Washington State Men's Basketball sophomore forward CJ Elleby was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week for the week ending on Jan. 18, the conference office announced Monday. Elleby is the first Coug to earn the award this season and the first since Robert Franks took home the top honor Feb. 22, 2019.

Regular season closes as Cougs fall to Cal

A five minute stretch early and a historic day out of California's Kristine Anigwe proved too much for Washington State (9-20, 4-14) to overcome Sunday in the regular season finale at Beasley Coliseum as the Golden Bears (18-11, 9-9) closed out the Cougs, 80-58.
