Neighbors oppose Idaho plan to log cedar grove

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Idaho officials are considering logging a 40-acre grove of cedar trees to generate extra revenue, but they're facing opposition from nearby residents.The Spokesman-Review reports (http://bit.ly/2hecAN6 ) that the Idaho Department of Fish and Game thinks it could raise several hundred thousand dollars by selling timber from the trees near Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho.
