Idaho used a late rally in the fourth quarter to take the lead for good in an 86-78 triumph over Weber State and claimed at least a share of the Big Sky Conference regular season title on Thursday inside Cowan Spectrum.

Although Idaho is known for its offensive prowess, the Vandals used lockdown defense to put together a 77-49 season sweep over Southern Utah Saturday afternoon in Memorial Gym.

Turnovers costly for Vandals

Saturday afternoon saw Idaho women's hoops (13-9, 10-3 Big Sky) lose to Northern Colorado (16-8, 11-4 Big Sky) by a score of 77-72. Both team struggle in early in the game but it was a 13-turnover first half that led the Vandals astray.
