Sound Off for March 20th: Would you give your Facebook password to a prospective employer?

It's becoming a new thing in a job interview. In their efforts to vet applicants, some companies and government agencies are going beyond merely looking at a profile, instead asking to log in as the user to have a look at messages and activity. But is it really legal? In Illinois and Maryland, proposed legislation would forbid public agencies from asking for access to social networks.Critics say it's akin to requiring someone's house keys.Would you be willing to allow a prospective employer access to your social networking sites?Or do you think it's a violation of privacy?Comment below or e-mail us at soundoff@kxly.com.
