SWAT arrests Moses Lake woman on drug charges for second time in four months
MOSES LAKE, Wash. — For the second time in four months, the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team (TRT) and INET served a search warrant on a residence in the 1100 block of E Hill Avenue.
38-year-old Sonia Adame was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Additional charges will follow.
Back in December, the Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) developed a case on Adame, and she was arrested by the TRT on charges of possession with intent to deliver in a school zone. She was allowed to bail out of jail shortly after being arrested.
In a Facebook post, the Moese Lake Police Department said, “Apparently, Adame didn’t catch the hint to stop selling drugs, and after she was released, INET began to get citizen complaints that she was selling drugs again out of the residence, all the while awaiting trial on the December charge.”
INET performed multiple controlled buys from Adame and obtained the search warrant that was served on Thursday morning.
Multiple agencies were involved in this arrest: INET secured the search warrant, TRT served the warrant, and Washington State Patrol provided an armored vehicle and a drug K9.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office and Moses Lake Police Department patrol personnel helped with the operation as well.
