Summer ghost hunts offered in Hooper
Tours begin mid-August
HOOPER, Wash. — Have you ever wanted to investigate the paranormal? What about spending the night in a haunted hotel? If you answered yes to any of those questions, the town of Hooper is offering overnight ghost hunts this summer.
Those brave enough to investigate have the option to choose between a three-hour ghost hunt or an overnight investigation. Private tours are also available for groups up to ten people, which includes the option of a four-hour ghost hunt or an overnight investigation, as well.
Three separate buildings will be investigated during the course of the hunt: the town’s hotel, the general store, and the grain building near the railroad tracks.
Costs range from $45 to $100 per person, depending on what hunt you’re interested in. Private tour costs range from $650 to $1150 per group.
According to its website, tours begin in mid-August for a few select dates and start back up again in October in anticipation of Halloween.
Billed as a ‘haunted ghost town’, Hooper is approximately 95 miles southwest of Spokane situated between Washtucna and LaCrosse on Highway 26.
