Sterling K. Brown joining ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’

Sterling K. Brown has revealed some exciting news about a very popular television show and no, we’re not talking about “This Is Us.”

Brown announced on his Twitter account Monday that he is joining Season 3 of the popular Amazon series, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

“I’m Eastward bound. I’m going to do a little TV show, maybe you’ve heard of it: ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,'” he said in the video. “The Palladinos were kind enough to write a little something for your boy, and I said yes. So, stay tuned. I’m getting together with Midge and it’s going to be awesome.”

It’s unclear what Brown’s role will be. The show stars Rachel Brosnahan as Miriam “Midge” Maisel, a housewife in 1950’s New York turned stand-up comedian. The show has won three Golden Globes and numerous Emmy Awards.

Brown currently plays Randall Pearson on NBC’s “This Is Us,” which just wrapped production on its third season. He’s also keeping busy with several film roles and lends his voice to the upcoming movies, “The Angry Birds Movie 2” and “Frozen 2.”
