State Route 27 reopens near Latah
LATAH, Wash. — The Washington Department of Transportation reopened a stretch of State Route 27 early Friday morning after it had been closed Thursday due to drifting snow.
The highway had been closed between milepost 60 and milepost 50, near the town of Latah. Drivers were forced to used alternate routes.
Despite the reopening, Washington State Patrol trooper Jeff Sevigney warns that winter driving conditions still exisit across the region Friday. He asks drivers to slow down on area roads.
