Lind Fire is 100-percent contained, local agencies mopping up
ADAMS CO., Wash. — The Lind Fire is now 100% contained, and state mobilization has ended.
Local agencies are now mopping up the fire, and evacuations have been dropped.
The fire first ignited Sunday and has burned more than three square miles, roughly 2,100 acres.
The fire prompted the mobilization of resources from the Washington State Fire Services Resource Mobilization Plan. Fire officials said the flames were at one point threatening homes, crops and infrastructure.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
This is a developing story.
