Spring Market at the Pavilion starts Wednesday in Riverfront Park

SPOKANE, Wash. — After a successful Winter Market at the Pavilion, Riverfront Spokane is bringing it back for the new season.

Starting Wednesday, Apr. 7 and everyday until May 12, you can stop by the new Spring Market at support local businesses.

That’s why the Winter Market was created back in December.

It was a completely new, farmers market-style event at Riverfront Park and really helped businesses out during a rough time.

Twenty-three vendors and a rotation of 10 food trucks will be at the Spring Market each week and visitors will be asked to once again mask up and stay socially distanced at the Pavilion.

Director of Spokane Parks & Recreation Garrett Jones says they’re looking forward to doing another market because of how well it went in the winter.

“It was a huge success and so we’re excited now with the weather now getting a lot nicer outside to be able to provide that service again here starting this Wednesday,” he said.

One of the vendors, Liberty Ciderworks, was also part of the Winter Market.

Co-owner Jamie Pratt says she’s looking forward to being a vendor in the Spring Market.

“Having the market was really great because since we were limited to what we could do here in our tasting room,” said Pratt. “The markets gave us another avenue to get out there and meet people because people weren’t coming to us, so we had to go to the people.”

She says it’s also a great opportunity for them to get their name out there, meet new customers and build relationships within the community.

Visit the Spring Market at the Pavilion every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. until May 12.
