Kennedy Leads Spokane Over Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY - Spokane beat Salt Lake 41-35 on the road Monday night to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Spokane running back Trevor Kennedy led the way on offense carrying the ball 13 times for 101 yards and three touchdowns.

Spokane overcame 4 interceptions thrown by quarterback Charles Dowdell who threw for under 100 yards for the second time this season.  The Empire have won both games in which Dowdell failed to eclips the century mark.
