SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga men’s basketball team continues to climb up the rankings, clocking in at the No. 6 spot in the most recent AP Poll.

Following three tough games in league play, the Zags cruised to a win Saturday night against Portland. Saturday’s win keeps the Bulldogs undefeated in conference play so far this season.

Fellow WCC opponent Saint Mary’s got 106 votes in the poll, just missing out on the top 25 rankings. Other teams that got votes include North Carolina State (111), Arizona state (79), New Mexico (67), Illinois (61), San Diego State (44), Michigan State (29), Duke (24), Wisconsin (14), Creighton (9), Kent State (8), Boise State (6), Texas A&M (5), Ohio State (3), Missouri (3), VCU (2), Iowa (2) and North Carolina (1).

The No. 6 Zags face off against LMU on Thursday. Tipoff is at 6 p.m.
