SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga women’s basketball team continued its winning ways Saturday afternoon in The Kennel, beating the Santa Clara Broncos 78-61.
The No. 20-ranked Zags beat the USF Dons 63-42 Thursday night in Spokane. The Bulldogs were looking to extend their eight-game winning streak another game.

They successfully extended their winning streak thanks to double-digit scoring from four Zags. One of those players was guard Kaylynne Truong had 15 points on 5-9 shooting from the field, just shooting under 50 percent from behind the arc in the game.
Forward Yvonne Ejim recorded another double-double Saturday afternoon, raking in 16 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Brynna Maxwell added 17 points and McKayla Williams added 13 points to help the Zags win on Saturday.
The Zags held the Broncos to 24 percent shooting from behind the arc. They also out-rebounded the Zags 43-30, gathering seven more offensive rebounds than their opponent (16-9).
The No. 20 Bulldogs will look to extend its winning streak again next Saturday against Portland in Portland.
