Cougars suspend KJ Langston

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State Cougars Head Men's Basketball Coach Ernie Kent announced Tuesday that junior guard KJ Langston has been suspended indefinitely following a violation of team rules.

Langston transferred to WSU in 2016 from Chabot College, a two-year school in Hayward, Calif. Prior to that, he played one season at Pasadena City College, where he averaged 13.3 points and 5.7 rebounds a game, while shooting 44 percent from the floor.

Langston has seen the court sparingly while at WSU. Only in his second season in Pullman, Langston has appeared in just 29 total games, averaging 6.3 minutes and 1.2 points per game.

The Cougars (9-8, 1-4) travel to face Colorado (11-7, 3-3) on Thursday, Jan. 18, and Utah (10-7, 2-4) on Sunday, Jan. 21. Both games tip-off at 5 p.m. PST and will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
