SpokAnimal accepting new kitten fosters, donations at Kitten Shower on Saturday

SPOKANE, Wash. — It’s kitten season, which mean local shelters are seeing an increased intake of kittens.

SpokAnimal is one of those shelters and they need your help!

Right now, 200 of their kittens are in foster homes and about 30 still need fosters.

If you’d like to take care of some kittens until they can be placed in a new home, come to the Kitten Shower this Saturday, May 8.

You can learn more about fostering and SpokAnimal is taking donations of items to help care for the kittens, like Kitten Milk Replacer, heating pads, blankets, food and water bowls and much more.

The Kitten Shower will be at 715 N Crestline St. this Saturday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

If you can’t make it, donations can be dropped off at Northwest Seed & Pet at 7302 N Division St., Kitty Cantina at 6704 N Nevada St., or purchased and shipped from their Amazon Wish List.
