Spokane’s Bartlett concert venue to close this fall
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Bartlett in downtown Spokane will close in November, the owners announced in a Facebook post Wednesday morning.
“The only explanation we can give is that it’s time for us to move on,” said Caleb and Karli Ingersoll.
The Ingersolls opened The Bartlett at 228 W Sprague Ave. in 2013. With a 150-person capacity, it was created as an ‘intimate’ event space to be used for live music and special events. The owners called it “one of the best small venues that’s ever existed.”
“We’ve put so much into this little club. We love it so dearly and can’t imagine life without it. But we’ve also put so much thought and time into this decision and we appreciate your respect and understanding,” said the Ingersolls.
Friday, November 8th will be the last show at The Bartlett. There are plenty of shows on the schedule from now until then. Find a schedule here.
Earlier this year, the Ingersolls opened a second music venue on the edge of Browne’s Addition. The Lucky You Lounge is a 10,000 square foot music venue, restaurant, night club and bar.
