Spokane’s air quality in ‘moderate’ range due to higher humidity, smoke
SPOKANE, Wash. – Air quality is in the “moderate” range around the greater Spokane area.
4 News Now’s Mark Peterson says the air feels thick because of a combination of things: It’s a bit more humid from cloud cover and monsoonal moisture, and there are some fires around the region bringing smoke into the area.
Being in the moderate range means air quality is considered “acceptable” for most, but can cause concern for those who are unusually sensitive to air pollution.
