SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane wastewater crews are currently dealing with heavy rain and flooding in some areas around the city.

The city reminded locals that street floods can be reported by dialing 3-1-1.

They also reminded the public to not drive over flooded roads and be observant of road closure signs. Several roads around Spokane are closed and emergency crews have been placed at the scenes.

Also, don’t let your children or pets play in standing water, and try to keep your nearby storm drains clear of debris.
