Spokane Valley seeks community input on Greenacres Park design

Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VA., Wash. — The City of Spokane Valley Parks and Recreation Department is asking for community input for the design of Greenacres Neighborhood Park.

The park, located at 1311 N. Long Road, is currently in its second phase of construction. The first phase was completed in 2012, and the city is pursuing a Washington State Recreation & Conservation Office grant to fund the completion of the second phase.

The city created an electronic 10-question survey for Spokane Valley residents to complete and give their preferences for future park amenities. The survey will be available through July 22. Survey results will provide the city guidance for the final design of the Phase 2 project.

You can take the survey here.

Later this summer, the city will also announce two in-person community workshops to gather additional feedback and answer questions.
