Spokane Valley pot bust
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A Spokane Valley man faces felony charges for manufacturing marijuana with intent to sell.
31-year-old Perry Failing was arrested when Liquor and Cannabis officers found about 50 plants in his Bowdish home. They also found material to make other marijuana-based products.
Failing was released from Spokane County Jail with his arraignment set for February 21.
Washington State carries a maximum sentence of 5 years with a $5,000 fine for intent to sell marijuana. However, that could be doubled in Failing’s case, as his house is 500 feet from a public pool.
