Spokane Valley Police searching for man who exposed himself to 11-year-old girl

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Valley Police officers are looking for a man who reportedly exposed himself to an 11-year-old girl early Tuesday morning.

Police said the incident happened near S. Glenn Rd and E. 26th Ave around 8:40 a.m.

The young girl said she was walking to school when a man, still seated in his truck, asked if she could help him. As she continued her walk, she said the man’s genitals were exposed and he appeared to be touching himself.

Authorities said the girl did the correct thing by quickly running away.

A resident watched part of the incident happen and promptly reported the information to authorities. The resident also helped the girl, who was not injured, but upset.

Police said the suspect drove away and was last seen driving west on 26th Ave toward University.

The man is described as white, in his 30s, with a goatee that is possibly red in color. He was reported to be wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt.

The man is believed to be driving a blue pickup, possibly a Dodge, with a matching fiberglass canopy.
