Spokane Valley Firefighters Local 876 are escorting Santa Claus around the Valley all throughout December.

Off-duty firefighters are volunteering to help Santa spread Christmas cheer on their nights off. Folks can download the Glympse app to track Santa’s location, which activates when he comes out to visit the children.

Local 876 expects firefighters to set out between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. based on staffing.

Santa’s schedule is as follows:

Monday, December 9 – Liberty Lake Road to Starr Road, between Mission and Sprague
Tuesday, December 10 – Otis Orchards, several streets
Wednesday, December 11 – Sullivan to Flora, between Sprague and Saltese
Friday, December 13 – Park to Argonne, between Wellesley and I-90
Thursday, December 19 – University to Evergreen, between 16th and 32nd
Friday, December 20 – Havana to Park, between Sprague and 16th
Saturday, December 21 – University to Evergreen, between 16th and 32nd
