Spokane to host USA curling national championships in 2020
SPOKANE, Wash. — For the first time, the Men’s and Women’s National Championships for curling will be held in Spokane, Wash.
The week-long event will feature the top men’s and women’s teams in the country and helps determine Team USA for the World Championships.
Spokane Sports Commission will be hosting the championships in partnership with Eastern Washington University.
“Spokane is proud to be chosen for USA Curling National Championships,” said Eric Sawyer, CEO of Spokane Sports Commission. “What an exciting time for the sport with continuous growth and popularity worldwide.”
The event will take place Feb. 8-15, 2020, at EWU Recreation Center.
