Spokane Symphony’s annual Christmas Tree Elegance fundraiser begins
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Symphony’s annual fundraiser Christmas Tree Elegance, is back for it’s 36th year.
Last year was record-breaking as they completely sold out, selling 355,000 tickets. This year, they’ve got 100,000 more tickets to try and avoid anyone missing out but be warned, they say they’ve topped years prior with the decorations and prizes!
Plane tickets, hotel vouchers, gift certificates galore, original artwork, kayaks and bikes are just some of the prizes you’ll find underneath this year’s Christmas Tree Elegance trees. The winner of each tree also walks away with a pretty generous amount of cash!
Pati Dahmen, one of the co-chair’s of this annual event explained, “there’s my tree that has $4500 cash. That fits everybody’s decor and everybody’s wallet. Then we have of course this beautiful Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Who wouldn’t love a Harley-Davidson motorcycle? Zip around town in that!”
There are 18 themed-trees total, including a “New York, New York” tree, a tree dedicated to beekeeping and a “Frozen” movie tree displayed at both the Historic Davenport Hotel and River Park Square.
To try and win the one that’s caught your eye, all you need to do is purchase a raffle ticket for a $1 through December 8 at the Davenport and December 9 at Riverpark Square, so long as they do not sell out before. Winners will be announced following close of sales each day.
The money raised goes to the Spokane Symphony.
Raffle tickets are available for purchase now at both locations.
