The Spokane Speed and Custom Show is taking over the fairgrounds this weekend.

If you’ve got a need for speed, the Spokane Speed and Custom show is back for the third year at the Spokane County Fairgrounds.

Inside the five different buildings, there is something for every car enthusiast — from vintage cars to fast cars, even motorcycles and trucks!

“There’s cars in the buildings from up and down the west coast. As far up as Canada, in to Alberta and from Southern California,” said event organizer Brian Anderson.

Expect to see live pin striping demonstrations and model cars.

There is also the chance to take a trip down memory lane with the “car club challenge.” A few local groups have set up scenes from the past using their vintage cars. In one, you are able to see a drive-in movie theater (they’ll be showing movies and handing out popcorn!) and in another, trucks used by the US Army.

You can check out the show on Friday from noon to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 9pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Tickets for adults are $12. Children 5 to 10 are $6 and under 4 are free. Military and seniors can received discounted tickets of $10 each.
