Spokane River users advised to use caution due to higher river flows

Air 4 Adventure: Rafting The Spokane River

SPOKANE, Wash. — Avista is advising Spokane River users to use caution on the water.

Increased precipitation earlier in the week is causing higher than average river flows for this time of year.

Flows are expected to decrease over the next week based on the current forecast.

Water levels and conditions around the dam are subject to change at any time, so people should be cautious whenever they’re around the water.
