Spokane Public Library reopens book drops at select branches

Spokane Public Library sees huge increase in cardholders

SPOKANE, Wash. — Do you have some library books that have been gathering dust on your shelves? You can now return them to the Spokane Public Library.

SPL has reopened book drops at its Hillyard, East Side, Indian Trail and South Hill branches. Locations and book drops have been closed since the beginning of the pandemic in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Those who have checked out books are asked to return them at their earliest convenience.

Until branches fully reopen, book lovers can access hundreds of titles and resources through SPL’s digital platforms.
