Spokane County Library District bringing back successful Instant Pot classes
Spokane, Wash. — If you missed last month’s instant pot classes with the Spokane County Library District, it’s not too late to become an instant ‘pro’ at using the popular cooking gadget.
January’s Instant Pot cooking classes at five different library locations last month were a big hit— more than 600 people attended in total.
Because of the popularity, they’re bringing the classes back this September, where they’ll focus on making desserts.
In the meantime, you can check out one of two Instant Pots at the ‘Library of Things’ starting this spring.
“You’ll be able to check out an Instant Pot that comes with a user manual and a chart telling you about different cooking times for different foods,” said librarian Corrine Wilson. “Use the Instant Pot at home and then bring it back to the library the same way you would a book.”
The rental will also include a recipe book.
Here are some Instant Pot recipes provided by Instructor Meegan Ware to keep you busy!
