Spokane police seek public’s help identifying business burglary suspect

Spokane Police are searching for the suspect who robbed a business in the 1800 block of North Langley twice in the last three months.

Shortly before 4 a.m. on March 19 police responded to a burglary at the business. A witness said they saw a person break into the business and heard the alarm activate. The owner responded to the business and pulled surveillance video showing the suspect, who was a bald, heavyset man, approximately 40-50 years old, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, faded blue jeans and black shoes.

A vehicle seen leaving the area was a silver or gray four-door compact car similar to a Ford Tempo.

On May 22, just after 2 a.m. police responded to another burglary call at the same location after the alarm system was triggered. Surveillance video again caught the suspect in the building.

The suspect is described again as a heavyset white male, approximately 50 years old, with a full gray beard, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, pants, olive colored baseball hat and dark gloves.

Anyone with information on these burglaries or the identity of the suspect is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
