Spokane police recover 13 stolen vehicles this weekend
SPOKANE, Wash. — From the early hours of Friday, February 15, to Saturday, February 16, Spokane police officers found 13 stolen cars around the city.
Three were found with the help of tips from the public. The other ten were recovered by officers on patrol.
Five of the ten vehicles had someone in them when they were found, leading to the arrest of six people who were all charged with felonies.
“We are glad this weekend, with the help of astute community members, we were able to reunite some vehicle owners with their property,” said SPD officer Nick Briggs.
