Spokane police looking for man who threatened people with a gun in Browne’s Addition

Multiple neighbors in Browne’s Addition reported a man threatening them with a gun early Thursday morning.

They reported a white man in his 50s was walking around the 2100 block of W. Pacific Ave., yelling and threatening people while holding a firearm. At least one person said he pointed the gun directly at them.

When Spokane police officers got the scene, the man was not there anymore.

Two dozen officers, along with SWAT team members using an armored vehicle, “systematically scoured” the area for nearly two hours, according to police. They did not find the man.

Anyone who was threatened by the man or has information on where he is or where he could be, is asked to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
