Spokane man released before rape trial, arrested again on robbery charges
SPOKANE, Wash. — A man released before his rape trial is back in court for entirely new charges.
Ricky Grubb appeared before a judge on Tuesday, where it was determined he will be held on $225,000 bond.
Previously, Grubb was arrested in November and charged with raping a family member who was visiting him from out of state. During his trial, prosecutors requested he be placed at quarter-million dollar bond.
The judge reduced the bond to $30,000 and Grubb was able to make bail.
In July, police learned that Grubb had reportedly been involved in a robbery outside of SNAP in downtown Spokane, and they arrested him.
Grubb’s current bond was set for both the robbery and rape cases.
