Thousands of people proved just what it means to be a Spokane Indians fan on Friday night- 6,869 people, to be exact.

Friday’s game marked the end of the regular short-season for the Spokane Indians. It also marked a historic feat, as the team beat their attendance record for the first time in their 37 short-season history.

The goal was to hit the 200,000 mark by the end of this season.

Fans quickly surpassed that goal as they filled Avista Stadium, raising the season total to a record 200,273.
