Spokane Home and Garden Show brings attendees face-to-face with experts

Have you ever thought of making big improvements to your home like adding an elevator? What about a stair-lift for a relative that’s facing some challenges getting around? At the Spokane Home and Garden Show, you can speak with the experts who can make that happen and even experience the machines before bringing them into your home.

Keely Friesen owns Vertical Options, brought in one of their elevators for attendees to check out and said, “it’s a great appliance to add to the value of your home and also help out with mobility issues.”

They are just one of the near 100 booths set up to help you with all your renovation needs, that not only get you up close and personal with the experts in the field, but a chance to touch and feel the products in the same place.

Joel White is part of Spokane Home Builders Association, the group putting on the 32nd annual show, said, “that’s the best part of the whole home show. You can actually come talk to the vendor. They have product demonstrations, you can look at the carpet, see swatches. You can go to a showroom but this is all here in one spot. You can see every different part of a home in this show.”

The Spokane Home and Garden Show is being held at the Spokane Convention Center on Friday, April 13 from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults.
