Spokane Health and Fitness Expo returns this weekend
SPOKANE, Wash. — If you’re looking to trim down or tone up in 2018, this weekend is a perfect opportunity to get started. The Spokane Health and Fitness Expo is back at the fairgrounds this year. For just $8, you can try a number of classes and meet local gym owners to see what they all offer.
Whether your a gym rat or just starting your fitness journey, the show promoters promise they have a little something for everyone this weekend.
“We just try to create a fun environment where everybody can come and focus on health and fitness together. So you could be a fly on the wall or maybe you’re scared to step into a gym or studio. Here you can come in and meet the studio owners in a non-threatening situation and have a little more confidence to get into some fitness routine,” said Chris Cody.
You can also meet local legend Sandy Zimmerman, an American Ninja Warrior from Spokane. She’ll meet with fans and a perform a demonstration.
Check out the Spokane Health and Fitness Expo this Saturday and Sunday, January 6 & 7, at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center. The doors open at 10:00 a.m. each day.
