Spokane family turns daughter into adorable Elf on the Shelf
SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane family is bringing Elf on the Shelf to life.
Mia St Clair started photographing her 10-month-old daughter Poppy in a little red outfit, complete with a handmade elf hat, and shared the photos on her Instagram page @greyslittlecloset.
Poppy’s popularity grew quickly.
“When we started to see the response, we thought, oh my gosh, we’ve got to keep this going. People are waiting for these Poppy on the Shelf pictures. So, it’s been fun,” St Clair said.
It’s been fun for her more than 58,000 followers and for her family, too.
“We thought it would be really fun and just a fun activity for our family to all be a part of and just spread a little extra Christmas and holiday cheer,” St Clair said.
St Clair’s followers have come to know and love all her kids, Grey, Roux, and Poppy. She posts about them, living in the Inland Northwest, and brands and products she’s passionate about.
Now, her account is the source of holiday joy, too.
