Spokane dental office provides free services for uninsured children
SPOKANE, Wash. — Are your kids brushing their teeth as much as they should? Flossing? Now might be a good time for a refresher on those kinds of habits.
February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. Along with reminding families about good oral hygiene practices, this is when dentists around the country step up and provide services to children without dental insurance.
“You know sometimes people fall on hard times and that is kind of what we are hoping to see. People that just don’t have dental insurance right now,” said Abbey Moore, office manager at Hero Dental (82 E. Francis).
If your child needs dental services, “Give Kids a Smile” might be right for you. You can call for an appointment at (509) 484-4746. Just remember that patients must be under 21 and not currently covered by Medicaid or private insurance
