Spokane County Libraries offer tax season help
SPOKANE, Wash. — If tax season is stressing you out, you’ll be happy to know that free AARP Tax-Aide help is available.
From January 30 through April 14, you can get help at four Spokane County Libraries: Argonne, Cheney, Moran Prairie, and Spokane Valley.
At the Argonne and Cheney Libraries, appointments are needed and can be made through Washington Trust Bank by calling 509.353.4851, beginning January 12, 2018.
At Moran Prairie and Spokane Valley Libraries, help is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
You’ll need to bring a few things, including your 2017 tax-related documents, valid photo ID, and Social Security cards for yourself and all household members. It is also recommended that you bring your 2016 tax return. If you know which tax forms you’ll need, you can download and print them from www.irs.gov.
