Spokane County initiates Full County Plow
SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane County has initiated a Full County Plow as of this morning.
Crews have been working since last night and are currently on 12 hour shifts to make sure roadways are clear and safe for travelers.
90 pieces of equipment including plows, deicers, and sand trucks are working to clear emergency routes first. Once these roads are considered safe and clear, crews will move onto secondary roads.
The county would like to remind the public of a few things as they clear roadways:
Crews must clear 2500 miles worth of roads throughout the county; the public’s patience is appreciated
Please stay back from plows and other equipment as they clear the roadways
Please try to keep storm drains and other water flow areas clear if possible
The county would like to thank everyone for their continued patience as they do their best to clear snow and keep everyone safe.
