Spokane Airport’s main runway closed for maintenance, planes to use secondary runway
SPOKANE, Wash. — Some west Spokane neighborhoods will have more planes flying overhead Tuesday and Wednesday.
The main runway at the Spokane International Airport will be closed for routine maintenance from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days.
During the closures, all flights will have to use the airport’s secondary runway. This means planes will be flying east to west, which will create more air traffic over areas that are not routinely flown over.
