Sound Off for October 21: Do you agree with Biden’s decision to not run for president?
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Vice President Joe Biden will not enter the 2016 Presidential Race.
With his wife and President Obama by his side today, the Biden said he and his family needed time to grieve the loss of his son, Beau. And Biden had been warning that the window for a presidential campaign might close.
“Beau was our inspiration, but we’re out of time to mount a winning campaign,” he said.
Recent polls showed that with Biden in the race, Hillary Clinton’s lead over Bernie Sanders shrinks. Without Biden, she has a more comfortable, but still not large, advantage.
What do you think? Do you agree with Biden’s decision not to run for president? Or are you disappointed he won’t be among the Democratic candidates?
