STCU warns against scams

According to STCU, over the weekend, some members were double-charged for debit transactions due to a technical issue.

The company said the issue occurred during a four hour window beginning around 9:30 p.m. Friday. Some, but not all transactions were impacted.

As of 5 p.m. Monday, the company said all transactions had been corrected.

The company said they will “review procedures to guard against this happening again.”
