Soap Lake HS students returned to class, no threat found

SOAP LAKE, Wash. — Update 1:19 p.m.: An “all clear” has been issued for the bomb threat at Soap Lake High School.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said that the call for the threat came in at about 9:25 a.m. Authorities thoroughly checked the area and didn’t find any threat to students or faculty.
Original Story: A verbal bomb threat to Soap Lake High School caused authorities to evacuate the students on Wednesday morning.
The students were moved to a safe location and are all accounted for.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said no real threat was identified.
Rumors of an active shooter are false.
