Snow way! About an inch of snow on the way into Spokane tonight
SPOKANE, Wash. — Say it ain’t snow! After an unusually warm and dry start to December, the snow is on its way back into the region Tuesday night.
The forecast calls for most of the snow to fall north of I-90 — from Ritzville to Spokane — and across the top of the North Idaho Panhandle (map shown below). Areas south of I-90 will likely see rain or a rain/snow mix.
The Spokane area is not expected to see more than an inch. While outlying areas may see slightly more, no major accumulations are expected with this system.
Okay, so when?
The snowfall will start around 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue into the overnight hours, which means it could make for a dangerous Wednesday morning commute. Prepare for a slippery drive to work and school.
