Snow, ice, freezing rain create dangerous driving conditions around Inland Northwest

Drivers around the Inland Northwest faced dangerous driving conditions Tuesday evening following a batch of snow and freezing rain.

Spokane Police reported more than two dozen collisions in the Spokane area after 4 pm. They asked drivers to stay home and to avoid traveling if possible.

The City of Spokane went on Twitter to announce their game plan for clearing and de-icing roads.
