SNAP offering energy assistance to those who qualify
SPOKANE, Wash. — Colder weather outside makes it that much easier to stay inside and turn up the heat.
SNAP knows heating bills can get expensive this time of year, which is why the non-profit is offering energy assistance to those in need.
Event Director Carol Weltz says they’ve already helped 1,000 people with their bill in just three days.
If you need assistance, there’s still time. SNAP will be at the Spokane County Fairgrounds from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
Your bill doesn’t have to be late, but there are some income requirements.
