SPOKANE, Wash. — A new affordable housing complex in Spokane, the Sinto Commons, will have its grand opening celebration on June 29.

Sinto Commons will house 46 families and individuals. Community Frameworks devoted 23 of the rental homes for people experiencing homelessness.

The location of Sinto Commons is less than one mile north of downtown Spokane, convenient for public transportation, schools, services, and employment opportunities. Sinto Commons features eight studios, 11 one-bedroom, 25 two-bedroom, and 3 three-bedroom apartments, indoor common areas, outdoor play areas, and onsite parking.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for 4 p.m. at 509 W Sinto Avenue. CEO of Community Frameworks Deb Elzinga, Board of Directors Chair Chris Pegg, and Mayor Nadine Woodward will be in attendance.
